R-E-S-P-E-C-T

Let's start off with a rule that we all should have learned at an early age. 

The Golden Rule

Treat others the way you want to be treated.

With that being said, if you don't respect me what makes you think you'll gain any respect from me? And if you think that's the case then you're clearly disconnected from reality. That doesn't mean I'm going to go out of my way to be rude to you, because that would be a waste of time (my time to be exact). It just means that when you need or want something, I should be the LAST person you come to because I keep a mental record of all the things that people have done to me.

I also can't respect people that don't respect themselves. I'm pretty sure that's self explanatory so there's no need to go in to detail. Just know that you gets no respect from this guy (points to self). You know what else trips me out? Why is it that people over a certain age feel like they deserve respect no matter what? The same thing applies to you too. If I don't get respect from you, don't expect to get any from me no matter how old you are. End of story.

Some people just don't seem to understand. I'm guilty of it myself. There are times when I'm having a bad day and I tend to snap on people or say some pretty rude/disrespectful things. We all have those days. Just be careful on how you treat people because they could be the same person that plays a big role in your life.
