Like my new cardigan? I got it at Forever 21 yesterday (along with a few other things). And speaking of yesterday, I had so much fun. From the time we woke up to the time we got home. I can't even describe what happened. It's one of those things where you had to be there. Just know that I haven't had that much fun in a while.

If You Can't Hear It...
On Saturday I was in the car with Devanie, Anu, their friend Kamal (sorry if I spelled the name wrong) and Shawn (who was trying to race every car we passed haha) when they decided to play Pump Up the Volume by The Cool Kids. Ever since then the song has been stuck in mine and Devanie's head and it didn't help that she decided to play it while we were in our computer class. That song just seems to make me move around, whether it's nodding my head or dancing in my chair. It's like and old school vibe with...I don't even know. I just love it.
And if you can't hear it, PUMP UP THE VOLUME.

Random
Oh come on, get your mind out of the gutter. It was just cool whip. Am I the only one who thinks of Family Guy whenever cool whip is mentioned?
Now like I said in one of my previous post, I love food. Food, food, food, FOOD! Today when I got home from school I had pancakes and fritos (odd combo, i know) but it was so good. I also went to walmart with my sister and bought this Mickey Mouse graphic t-shirt decorated with neon colors. I love it and it was only $7. Never underestimate walmart they have some good stuff. In other news...You know at the self check out where your change it supposed to come out at the bottom? Well someone left two dollars and they were gone by the time I noticed so I left walmart with an extra two dollars. Lucky me.

Today was...a day.
Nothing really happened. I felt smart in math today. Me and Devanie did what we usually do in second block (computer apps). Talk about music, school, and took a few pictures. At lunch, I resumed talking to Matthew again (not that I was really mad at him), I just wanted him to think he did something. Biology? There was a substitute. Gym was kind of boring for some reason. I usually have fun in that class but today was off.Devanie got me a gift for Valentine's Day. Yes, Valentine's Day (it still counts). A bear, some chocolate, and she made me a card. Not one of those thrown together pen and scrap paper cards, but she put effort into it and she included a few of the people/things I love.
the front (Neon, that's me!)
the inside"We are hooked up on being DIFFERENT individuals"
the back (I have a thing for Kid Cudi)I really loved the thought she put into it. It shows that she actually pays attention to me and I'm glad that I have such a great friend like her. Now I'm off to paint my nails black and watch George Lopez.

The Cool...who?
If I said that I was always a big fan of The Cool Kids that would be a big lie. I would always hear about them from friends or websites but I brushed it off because I didn't understand the hype. About three weeks ago my friend Devanie (follow her) introduced me to a song called Jump Rope ft. Tennille and I really liked it so I decided to do a little research on this duo known asThe Cool Kids. I downloaded their mixtape Gone Fishing yesterday and fell in love. With Chuck's beats and both their rhymes, I can't deny that I've been missing out.
Boom Boom Boom
First let me say that when I first listened to Rihanna's fourth album, Rated R, I didn't really know what to expect. It's edgy, more vulgar, very different from the Rihanna I'm use to but when I heard Rude Boy it was automatically one of my favorites. I saw the video last week and I actually like it. Excuse me, I love it. I didn't really get the concept but everything from the color scheme to the outfits, I just loved it. Although she constantly gets all this negativity thrown at her she hasn't let it interfere with what she's doing and I like that about her. Rihanna's totally different from the island girl she was when she first came into the industry and I can't say that it's a bad thing.

Guess Who?
My God given name is Brittany. I'm not new to the whole blogging experience. This is actually my third one and it's something that I've grown to love doing.
Hmm, a few things about me? Well I’ve always been…let’s just stay on the safe side and say that I’m a bit eccentric. I collect almost everything from buttons to bottle caps. I'd rather be behind a camera than in front of it. I like interacting with different people and learning about their cultural background.I have an idol, her name is Norma Jeane Mortenson but you may know her as Marilyn Monroe. I have an unhealthy obsession with food, especially calamari and cheesecake. Sometimes I say and do random things that make no sense at all, but that's just me being me.
I can't really say what this blog is going to be about at the moment. One post might be about a new music video that I saw, the next could be about what I had for lunch that day. It could go in so many directions.
